These terms set out important information about the travel agreement between you and CHINAVIKI. Please read them carefully before booking.
Important information about your travel agreement
Booking and formation of the travel agreement
These travel services are organised by CHINAVIKI. When you join a trip, you enter into a travel agreement with us.
We arrange transportation, accommodation and other travel services in accordance with your itinerary, and manage the travel arrangements so that you can receive those services.
The agreement is formed when we accept your booking and receive the required deposit or the full travel price.

Payment of the travel price
Please pay the travel price before the tenth day counting back from the day before departure. For bookings made within ten days of departure, please transfer payment to the account we specify by the stated deadline.
What the travel price includes
The travel price includes the transportation fares, accommodation charges, taxes and service charges, meals, sightseeing fees, transfers and guide fees stated in your itinerary.
What the travel price does not include
- Expenses during free time
- Excess baggage charges
- Personal expenses such as laundry, telephone calls and additional food and drinks
- Optional tours joined only at your request
- Gratuities for guides, drivers and other staff
- Medical costs for injury or illness, and travel insurance premiums
Changes to travel arrangements and prices
If circumstances beyond our control arise, such as natural disasters, war, civil unrest, government orders, or the suspension of transportation, accommodation or other travel services, we may change the itinerary or service content to ensure the safe and smooth operation of your trip.
If transportation fares or charges change significantly, or if costs increase or decrease because travel arrangements change, we may adjust the travel price by the corresponding difference.
Cancellation and charges
For deposits and other amounts already paid, we may charge actual costs incurred. Cancellation charges are calculated from the departure date.

During traditional Chinese holidays and major holiday periods, hotels and vehicle companies may require advance payment, so cancellation may not be possible.
Itinerary management, personal information and our responsibility
We take the necessary steps to help ensure that you receive the travel services specified in the agreement during your trip. If we arrange substitute services, we will make reasonable efforts to keep the revised itinerary consistent with the original purpose of your journey.
We take appropriate care to manage and protect personal information entered when you apply for travel, such as your address, name, passport number and email address.
If you suffer loss because of our intentional act or negligence, we will compensate you for that loss. However, we are not responsible for loss caused by transportation delays or cancellations, war, accidents, or circumstances beyond our control.
